I have iPads for my music class…now what?

1

I spent the last week working at Texas Tech Band and Orchestra Camp. I have attended this camp as either a camper or faculty member for the last 13 summers and seriously don’t know what I would do with a week in July if I stopped going! One of the MOST fun things about this camp is the collaboration that I get to experience with other teachers from around the state. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve even gotten to have collegial conversations with those who were my teachers at band camp when I was attending as a student – guys, it’s just the best!

My fabulous friend, Amy is the inspiration for this post. She frantically asked me “I have some iPads – I just asked PTA for them and they gave them to me – now what do I do with them?!” …or something to that effect.

You guys: Amy is not the first person to have this problem! There are so many of us that have these great resources and don’t know where to start with them – this week is for ya’ll. Shoutout.

During this conversation I started to rack my brain for all of my favorite student iPad apps and decided that I need to make a list! Lists are the best!

This week, together, we will create a list that I like to call “The Best Ever Apps for Student iPads in the Music Classroom”

Here’s how to contribute:

Okay, you get going on that one (and tell your friends!) All week I’ll be tweeting out favorites that are submitted so make sure you are one of my tweet peeps! Saturday (July 18th) the poll will close and I’ll share the final results! Let’s get crackin’ … or appin’ – get it? 😉 😉
